Dear guests and partners,

In the context of the effects of Covid-19 Pandemic, here at Four Views Hotels we have developed a Health and Safety program.

This document will disclose the course of action to prevent, control and monitor Covid-19, in accordance with the guidelines of the world Health Organization and National and local Health Authorities.

Our Hotels have been certified with the “Clean and Safe” Quality Hygiene Stamp by the National Tourism Authority (of Portugal) since May 4, 2020.

Our main goal is to guarantee the safety of our guests and employees. For this reason, our program is called “Maximum Care, Minimal Impact”.

Always with the guest in mind, we designed this program in order to provide our clients with an enjoyable and relaxing stay, making sure that they feel safe and well taken care of, without feeling the big impact of the program’s measures.

In this matter the group has partnered with: ALS GLOBAL- an international company in hygiene and safety sector; DIVERSEY, an international Cleaning Solutions Company; and lastly ERGORAM, a local company leader in safety, hygiene and health at work environment.

These partnerships allow us to use and provide our guests with high quality health and safety products and tools, to ensure that all measures are implemented according to the recommendations of OMS and DGS.

Please find below the following safety procedures in the different areas of our Hotels:

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Training to all staff members on COVID-19 Hygiene Safety measures
  • Added cleaning and disinfection measures in all Hotel areas to prevent and control any possible infection.
  • Availability of alcohol based Antiseptic gels dispensers in all public areas
  • Mandatory use of masks in all public areas for both Guests and Staff members
  • Adapted layouts so that social distance can be kept.
  • At Front Office you can buy Individual Protection Kits (mask and Disinfectant Gel)
  • Keep the recommended social distancing always in common areas

  • All norms related to our program Maximum Care / Minimum Impact and the Clean & Safe Seal disclosed to all our Guests
  • Welcome kit comprising of one mask and one stick (use for pushing lift buttons and coffee, juice machines at breakfast room) – please keep it with yourself at all times.

ROOMS

  • Room Cleaning and disinfection only done during the Guest’s absence
  • All information, A-Z Directory, Room Service Menu, Fire & Safety Measures, TV Channel Guide, will all be accessible to view with your mobile through a QRCode. You can also order directly from Room Service with your Virtual Key Pass (also through the mobile)

RESTAURANTS

  • Mandatory use of masks in the Restaurant, on arrival, during circulation and upon departure.
  • Guest are required to comply with the table reservation schedule
  • Guests are required to wait to be seated by our Staff. While waiting please keep the recommended social distancing
  • Hand disinfection upon arrival and departure
  • Please wait at your table for our staff to take your order
  • At the Buffet Stations one of our Staff members will be serving you
  • In our “a la carte” Restaurants you can use your Virtual Key Pass. You can also browse the menu using the QRCode displayed on the tables
  • Whenever possible use your debit or credit card for payment or charging the bill to your Room

BARS

  • Mandatory use of mask in the Restaurant, on arrival, during circulation and upon departure
  • Hand disinfection upon arrival and departure
  • You can order using your Virtual Key Pass. You can also browse the Bar List using the QRCode displayed on the tables
  • Whenever possible use your debit or credit card for payment or charging the bill to your Room

SPA/ GYM

  • Indoor Pool, Turkish bath, Sauna and Lockers will be closed during this period until further notice.
  • Massage – please book at Reception with 24 hours in advance.
  • Mandatory use of Mask

  • Indoor pool will be closed until further notice.
  • Mandatory use of mask in the Pool area on arrival, during circulation and upon departure
  • Please do not rearrange the layout of the sun loungers. Should you be a family please ask our Pool Attendant or our Guest Relations for your own set up

  • Hand disinfection before and after check out
  • Self-Check Out with your Virtual Key Pass.
  • Whenever possible use your debit or credit card to settle your bill

Complying to all these measures will not only prevent and protect the health of our guests and staff, but also provide our guests with an enjoyable and memorable stay. We also recommend that our guests follow with hygiene and safety standards throughout they stay in Madeira Island, in all activities or services outside our Hotels.
